Our goal at Mykolaiv Water Hub is to bring together the strengths and expertise of municipalities, water utilities, companies, startups, and universities to transform the South of Ukraine into a leading region for water-related industries, research, and education.
We are working diligently to develop Mykolaiv into a flagship city of innovative solutions and to become a blueprint for green and sustainable reconstruction, and human capital development.

Knowledge and Technology Transfer for Ukraine
To rebuild Ukraine’s war-damaged water infrastructure through climate-friendly, EU-aligned recovery. MWH and GWP unite German and Ukrainian experts, support key utilities, and develop a roadmap for resilient reconstruction.
Mykolaiv Water Hub RE:Construction
The project planning and implementation itself is already a showcase. Ukrainian and German architects are uniting their skills and energy to turn old building dated 1850 into an example of sustainable, innovative reconstruction with due respect for the historical context.
Scholarship program Girls in STEM
The scientific, industrial, and human capital potential of Ukraine’s Southern Region lies in the hands of its youth. We are enhancing this potential by providing financial support, mentorship, and equipment to outstanding schoolgirls with a passion for STEM disciplines, especially in water-related research areas.
Exchange for Ukraine Program: capacity building for water utilities
The Exchange for Ukraine Program, initiated by Leading Utilities of the World a network of the developed world’s best performing and most innovative water and wastewater companies and Mykolaiv Water Hub, facilitates peer-to-peer knowledge sharing for Ukrainian water utilities.
